Six medical volunteers will be leaving this weekend, so a despidia was held in the education room in the afternoon. There were so many patients that the party started late, but it was enjoyed by all. Thanks very much to Drs. Peter and Gillian, Drs. Ivan and Ana from Panama, Dra. Melissa and Dra. Jennifer. We appreciate your hard work and hope that you return.

Peter Emblad an ER Physician at Kaiser Permanente in the San Francisco area and his wife Jillian a nurse are about to leave Hospitalito Atitlán after volunteering for five months. Their son Alex and daughter Annika enrolled in the nearby school. We have more volunteers bringing their families…. think about bringing yours!

A big Thank You to Marc Quigley of Westwind Studios in Fayetteville Arkansas for the creative and hard work over the past six years! Marc volunteered in 2003 to create the PaP web site, and when he was told that the Hospitalito was asked to create its own independent site, Marc volunteered again. He will continue to volunteer to keep the Hospitalito Atitlán web site current and we are greatly appreciative of his time and energy.
